Welcome to LiveResults ("the Service", "the Project", "we", or "us"). By accessing or using our website, OBS overlay widgets, OBS Configurator, or REST/SSE endpoints, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Nature of the Service
LiveResults is an open-source, independent software project providing live sports scoreboard visual overlays and graphics designed for content creators, broadcasters, and streamers (e.g., Twitch, YouTube Live, OBS Studio). The service acts as an automated aggregator of publicly available third-party sports data feeds.
2. "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
DISCLAIMER OF ALL WARRANTIES: THE SERVICE, ITS OVERLAYS, GRAPHICS, SOUNDS, AND DATA FEEDS ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy, Reliability, or Timeliness (No SLA)
Live sports scores, clocks, match event notifications (goals, cards, VAR reviews, full-time signals), and betting odds displayed via LiveResults originate from upstream third-party public sources (including ESPN endpoints). We make NO REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR COMMITMENTS regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, correctness, or validity of any match score, clock time, or statistic.
- The speed, latency, or real-time synchronization of updates with live broadcasts.
- Continuous, uninterrupted, error-free, or bug-free operation of the server or overlay.
- The indefinite availability of any specific league, match, or data feed. Upstream feeds may change, rate-limit, or terminate without notice.
4. Strict Non-Reliance for Sports Betting & Financial Decisions
LiveResults displays odds data (e.g., Moneyline, EU Decimals, Over/Under) and match outcomes SOLELY FOR INFORMATIONAL, BROADCAST GRAPHIC, AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES.
- LiveResults is NOT a sportsbook, gambling operator, or betting advisory platform.
- Odds and score data are not real-time transactional pricing feeds and must NEVER be relied upon for placing financial wagers, in-play sports bets, or commercial decisions.
- WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES, LOST BETS, OR DAMAGES ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE USE OF OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION DISPLAYED BY THE SERVICE.
5. Streamer & Broadcast Operation Liability
You are solely responsible for integrating and configuring browser sources in OBS Studio or streaming software. We assume no liability for:
- Broadcast disruptions, stream drops, frame drops, or crashes caused by browser sources or audio synthesis.
- Displaying incorrect scores or delayed match alerts during your live stream.
- Any claims, warnings, or sanctions issued by third-party streaming platforms (e.g. Twitch, YouTube).
6. Intellectual Property & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer
LiveResults is an independent open-source project. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with ESPN, UEFA, FIFA, Premier League, Serie A, NBA, MLB, NFL, or any professional sports league, governing body, or athletic club.
All club badges, crests, logos, league designations, and trademarks displayed within the service are the property of their respective trademark holders. Their display is conducted solely under nominative fair use for identification and informational purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the authors, maintainers, or contributors of LiveResults be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, revenue, or business reputation, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to abuse, intentionally overload (via denial-of-service or excessive polling loops), reverse-engineer beyond the open-source license permissions, or use the service for illegal activities under your local jurisdiction.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
